Egg Banking

Also called Egg Freezing, or Egg Cryo-Preservation, this option is good for females who are beyond puberty and have viable eggs. The process takes 10-12 days and the use of fertility hormones, transvaginal ultrasounds, and a minor medical procedure to retrieve the eggs. They are kept frozen until the patient is ready to use them.

When the patient is ready to use the eggs, they are thawed, inseminated with sperm, grown into embryos, and transplanted into the uterus.
